This cheerful landscape got a lot of positive response at my exhibition in 2022.

A Show of Strength:  Woman. Nature. Machine.
An exhibition by Kristen Albert
Kristen Albert's goal is to create art that reminds people how strong, powerful and important women really are to our society. Her art is meant to motivate women in particular, but also men, to strive for change in their own lives and in the world.
The divine in femininity should become recognizable.
Women are divine because they create new life. Women are more than essential to the survival of humanity. Prehistoric people knew this, they revered women and their natural abilities. In this, the strength of women is inseparable from the strength of nature.
The intention is to paint women who are strong; women who are connected to nature; women who are waiting for the rightful recognition for their work.
As a contrast, the artist paints large, strong machines. Although these machines are also important for us humans and have a certain beauty, they can never come close to the achievements of a woman. For the painter, they are both a contrast to and a metaphor for the feminine.
Kristen Albert has been intensively involved with art and design since her school days. Born in the United States, she first studied interior design at Drexel University and at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There she took seminars in drawing, art history, color theory, composition and graphic design. She worked for many years in various professions until she was finally able to dedicate herself to her art full-time in 2017.

In this blog entry I’d like to share some comments from happy customers with you and explain why I’m sure you’ll be happy, too.

I was trying to work, but my mobile phone was ringing.
